Fish Busters Crew

I have returned to mess this blog with more of my writings haha...This is the latest add to our fishing chronicles, Chronicles of Riddick abis dah, Fish Buster chronicles lagi. Last Wednesday, me and Aizo had this random plan of fishing at the Handicraft centre...Kmarin jua tu ah . Anyways back to the headlines, unpacked, and went to action straight away. We also did some bottom-fishing with kembura as bait. There were few bites on the kembura despite our rods were going crazy and bending at some points, but nothing was caught. Ada plg...haha...colourful 'rainbow trouts' has its vast numbers here, don't worry there are lots of varieties, First emporium, Huo Ho, red, green, yellow, black, all present hehe....I'd really have to say these plastic bags give quite the fight too haha...most that we did in the trip was casting trying our lucks as we heard so many stories of the capture of the BARRAMUNDI...why not try our luck too by casting. Aizo and me started casting as soon as we were done setting our bait rods. Our first session attempt was unproductive except for 'trouts' making the majority,so we gave it a rest. We continued on after a while, changing lures, and we casted again at several points of the area. Finally I got a very sudden fight on my rod. I have to say, this chap really gave me a fight, thinkin that it is a Barramundi, it was joyful, as I reeled in slowly haha could it be? but why is it so long and slender? haha it was the Barramundi's brother from another mother haha a Barracuda. That's my first Barracuda. Haha this really raised our casting spirits back...unfortunately that was the only fish we got on the trip, we ended our trip about 7 coz we couldn't stand those little blood sucking vampires circling our heads looking for chances to strike.

It was a productive trip, especially on the casting side. Hey at least you know you're investment is worth it. Ironicly, early in the trip me and Aizo had this question, even having the thought there are none present in these waters haha.. "Ada Barracuda kah di sini ani?" haha our doubts really got answered alright, haha the irony....so Aizo ready to have more trips here hehe...thx for the pics

its been a while since i last updated the blog ehe...we'll here's the catch of the month for January...goes out to Aizat with his Ungah@Mangrove Jack...

he caught it early morning of the new yr..without us ehe :P~...congrats dude...may this month the crews will catch a much better fish..

n also not to forget wanna wish a happy advance chinese new year :)

A beautiful day at Serasa beach..w no one around but me..i was a loner...a lone buster....it was up to me...Aizo..to cherish the fishbuster crew...i've prepared evrythin from home...kirikans, kembura, hooks...den left off at 6.30 Am....as i arrived at serasa strangely der was no one der but me...lucky me hehe well i thot i cud hav all d fish but looks like i caught nuthin...yet...i waited for like half an hour until one of my kirikan got pull from d end of d line like crazy...so i pulled my line and found out d culprit was indeed an ungah...bt it was not rily dt big..about half a kilo....it was about the length of my foot...i was alone so i took d pic by myself hehe... after dt der were no bites so i went home..until den..next tym hopefully a bigger MJ...

Our latest trip to BM..only this tym it was only me n mirul...Saril was bz w sumthin or someone hehe...so nway...we went off a bit late around 8ish cos i hafto go to my bro's house...first we bought the bait den we went to BM....we set up our fishing gear n cast out our bait....the tide was quite low n we only hoped that we catch sumthin dt nyt... wyl waiting we played big 2...well i was being merciless to mirul hehe......den not long after mirul rod got a nudge...it almost made mirul's rod into a "c" shape...looks big...at dt tym der were also one spectator...dun hope for a cheerleader mirul haha....as mirul reeled it in...no mistaking it..a sembilang d size of mirul's arm...well since we dun eat sembilang so we thot dt we myt as well throw it bck into d waters....but...sadly it was murdered by miruls "cheerleader"...hahaha...oh well....the guy den left from our fishing place...after mirul it was my turn...my rod bent like crazy without a waste of tym i struck n reeled in my line....agen another sembilang...i din managed to land it as my line broke..so much for an 8lb line.... i set my gear agen bt dis tym w a 20lb mono leader....cast it out...an voila!! another sembilang bt dis tym i managed to land it....den mirul got another sembilang....until for dt nyt we caught 5 sembilang altogether....bsyds sembilang we also caught langut....like 3 of dem.... all fishes dt nyt were realeased and unharmed....except for the first one..poor fellow...

This is our 2nd last trip to BM..the trio jus cnt get enuf of the fishes here...looks like we're guna scrape evrythin here ryt boys?hehe joking...well the usual we bought the baits from kianggeh n head off to BM...as soon as we arrived at BM we set up our gears n cast out our bait and usual big 2..

strangely dt nyt it took us quite a long tym for d fish to bite our bait..until suddenly...Mirul got a bite...Katambak?ungah?selungsung?a hot steaming mermaid?who knows wat had bitten mirul's bait...as Mirul reeled in his line....no joking, tho funny...an "Airwolf" haha...if ya'll wana kno wat it is...its an Utik haha...so back into the waters you!!

not long after dt...its my turn for a bite....as i reeled in my line i kept wandering wats on the other end of my line...ungah?selungsung?paris hilton?or jessica Alba?either wud b nice but wat cud b d culprit dt bit my bait?it turned out to be another "airwolf".....bck into the waters agen.....

it was gettin late n still no game fish...kept playing dem big 2 until my rod got another nudge...reel in reel in reel in...finally a small tirusan...oh well myt as weel keep em kalau d goreng mkn sma nasi nyaman jua kali hehe....dt ends d nyt w only me who caught only one fish....beware of the airwolf guys...those stings can b nasty hehe

One night the usual crew went busting at the usual place i.e Batu Marang. We went off around 7ish. First we bought live prawns near kianggeh den went stret to BM. Me n Mirul met Salir at BM. at dt tym Mirul hafto go bck to his place for some reason so it was only Salir n me. We set up our gears n cast our baits out. No bites.... Soon after dt mirul came bck n without wasting anytym sets up his gear n cast out his bait. Tym goes by still no bite...we waited n as usual wyl waiting we played 'Big 2'. Finally....salir got his first catch of d nyt w a small Tirusan...well it's catch n release tym saril hehe...n den...not long after dt he got his 2nd bite on his bait...UMPAK!!...about a palm's big...not so bad aye Salir hehe...n den dis has made d nyt's catch...agen Salir got another bite...looks big...its a Gelama about d size of my slipper (Croc's) hahaha...bt seriuosly nice one saril...as for Me n mirul..i myself caught a small umpak (released) n Mirul caught the infamous "airwolf" (also released) :p No fish were caught after dt so home we go...congrats to Saril...watch out fishes out der...you've jus been Salirized!!!!
